Hello, my name is Owen
Hi! I’m a tutor at MoCo Academics, where I tutor General Studies, Math, and Reading/Writing. Currently, I’m an 8th grader at Pyle Middle School. My favorite subjects are Math and Science because I find them both fun. I have spent years of my life in Cambodia and Switzerland and have learned French, and I am currently learning Spanish as my third language as well. I am a co-founder of this business with Jon. We were so excited to make it because our group is always up to a challenge and we want to help the community. Excited to see you next class!
My Story
I was born in Washington, D.C. I then spent three years in Cambodia from when I was 4 to 6 years old. I don't remember very much from this experience. But I do know that spending one year in second grade in the United States was very difficult as I didn't know anybody and I knew I would move away soon. However, after that, I moved to Switzerland, and began to learn to speak French. After 3 years, when I was 10, I moved back here and started this business with my friends. I also play soccer at a high level here and I have played it since the age of four.
